I focus on creating strong brand identities, including logos, color palettes, and fonts, as a freelancer. I’ve developed multiple brands for clients, aiming to create cohesive visuals that effectively communicate each brand’s essence.
Graphic design is central to my approach, from social media visuals to print materials. My experience includes creating banners, animations, and out-of-home visuals, always with an emphasis on creativity and precision.
I gained valuable experience in social media at LA Social Media, where I created engaging content for brands like Ferrari and Ocean Spray. At BLOX, I grew their Instagram from 300 to over 7k followers in six months, by developing effective content.
A little summary of my work experience through the years.
At HelloTV, I create banners for websites, social media, and newsletters, ensuring all designs align with the brand guidelines. I’ve contributed to major campaigns, including the Black Friday and Euros campaigns, leveraging the Adobe suite and HTML5 to develop visually engaging content. Additionally, I work on printed materials, including advertisements in magazines.
As Co-Founder of Woollies I’m responsible for developing strong brand identities and guidelines for companies in the Netherlands and Germany. Creating social media content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Designing websites using Figma and developing them with WordPress and Elementor to align with the company’s brand.
At BLOX I was responsible for all social media content creation across platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn. This includes designing online visuals like banners, animations, and paid content, as well as developing new brand elements for the website, social media, and advertisements. Additionally, I created out-of-home visuals for cities, motoways, and football stadiums in Europe.
As electric cars become more common, many people still struggle to understand the technique and which car fits them best. During my graduation internship, I addressed this issue by designing a web-based platform for Van Mossel. Customers answer simple questions about electric cars, and the platform generates a tailored list of suitable models. Users can then learn about different cars and easily book a test drive with Van Mossel.
Focused on social media creation with an emphasis on animation and motion graphics. Developed concepts for large campaigns for brands like Ferrari Australia-Asia and Pigeon. Conducted lectures on After Effects and Illustrator for L&A Creatives. Integrated motion graphics into videos for both internal and external client use, and assisted with photo and video shoots.
As co-founder of Uwe Desayn, I focused on UI design, branding, and motion graphics, helping clients build strong, cohesive identities. One highlight was iQuest, a platform we developed to guide high school students in choosing fitting university courses. iQuest gained traction and is now used by over 100 schools in the Netherlands, showcasing our impact in education-focused design.
There’s more to me than just the design world. Get to know me, but maybe catch me when I’m not deep in a project!
Traveling is a significant passion of mine, and I took a leap of faith by quitting my job at BLOX to explore Southeast Asia for six months. This journey enriched my perspective and sparked my creativity, allowing me to immerse myself in diverse cultures and landscapes that continue to inspire my work.
I believe in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and I go to the gym almost daily, which has become an essential part of my routine. Recently, I’ve taken up running, finding joy in pushing my limits and discovering new paths. This commitment to fitness not only keeps me physically active but also fuels my mental clarity and creativity.
One of my favourite reads is Kastanjemanden, a captivating Scandinavian thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I also enjoy the series The Bridge, which showcases intricate storytelling and character development. These narratives inspire my work and remind me of the power of a good story.
I have dreams, besides graphic design, of writing my own book, allowing my creativity to flow through the written word. Additionally, I aspire to design a clothing line that reflects my unique style and vision. These goals fuel my ambition and creativity, driving me to explore new avenues in my artistic journey.
